Paradise realized (in ink and red wine)!

Anchored in a secluded bay with good friends, good food, and good wine. This week’s entry to Illustration Friday on the theme “your paradise”.

I really like the way this is rendered with just the three colors. A pink paradise! Love it.

ahoy there matey... I be 'buoyed up' for me next effort. So "as the crow flies", i will try to 'bear down' and produce something specially for IF, what maybe 'in the offing' for me next piece, is still perculating in me brain...... I hope I can make 'headway' before wednesday... cause this weekend... she be a gonner.. sunny skies and family matters are calling....

I like your illustration, Richard, Its got a photographic quality to it...The rosey lighting gives it a nice effect... This scene would also translate well into a linoblock....

This is my favorite. What a unique way to generate color. Well, I'm sure the prehistoric artists would call them modern pigments. :)

Odd Question:

Does it smelt like spilt red wine? Like old spilt red wine?

Love it.

Hi lux valentine ,

No, oddly it doesn't smell much at all.

If I'd had the time I think that I would have done some cartoon sailboats. This is in my top seven favorite blog posts of yours. Great touch with the wine.
