The Portal
Presently, I’m taking a course in figure drawing (gesture and structure). Our homework for this week is to create “a large scale figural/’antifigural’ composition using collage as a working method”. We were asked to cut and/or tear up the drawings we did in class. The pieces are then used to either “recreate a figure pose from memory, or invent something new that stretches the limits of a recognizable figure”.
So here’s the result. Mixing collage and drawing is soooo much fun! I’m really looking forward to my next class, yippee!
